SALE PENDING Winchester model.42 shotgun . Choked Skeet. Serial #39157 so pre war build in 1939. Solid Winchester rib so marked. 26 inch barrel. Deluxe Wood however I do not know if this was original since the double diamond is not checkered on the fore end. I have read some of the early deluxe Guns were checkered like this but I cannot determine if this was one of those guns. The barrel assembly is original however the receiver has been reblued. There is minor pitting in the receiver on top and underneath. Also some on trigger guard. A professional re-blue is needed in my opinion. LOP is13 3/4" and the weight is 6.13 lbs. Bore is perfect and the floor plate and extractor are both jeweled.
