Sale pending !!! Very nice Antique 1886 Winchester Carbine in very desirable caliber 45-70. Shipped to DuPont. Which was a cartridge manufacturer
probably used to test cartridges. Has a 20” barrel which is scarce, and a sporting front sight not mentioned in the letter. But I believe this to be 100% correct. I’ve owned several 20” barrel 1886 carbines. And it’s never mentioned in the letter. I sent one to George Madis who authenticated it as being 100% original.
