The 375 JDJ pistol barrel is mounted on the Thompson Contender frame. This a single shot "hand cannon" was designed to take large tough animals (including elephants) when deep penetration is required. It ideal for taking large boar hogs with one shot with good placement. This JDJ wildcat cartridge is based upon the 444 Marlin case and 250gr .375 bullet, a very potent combination. Besides raw power, this barrel is extremely accurate out to 200 yds! This pistol comes with 2 other barrels which includes a 7mmTCU and a 7mm Waters. These are great and accurate for light recoil on deer size animals or " heavy " plinking. The weight of the gun is approximately 60 oz. Additionally, it comes with 2 mounted scopes. As a reminder, all these calibers require hand loading. A 375 JDJ die is included.
