Description:
Good shape for being over 100 years old. The metal has some light rust here and there such as around where the barrel and receiver meet. There's also mild pitting in the barrel just after the edge of the muzzle. Given the age of the rifle (sources indicate this one was built in 1890) the metal has more than likely been reblued. The stock is in fine shape but has numerous dents, dings, scratches, and such. There are no apparent cracks. There is a bayonet that comes with the rifle but it is not pictured. .45-70 Government
