Description:
"Circa 1820s. Approximately 58 caliber smooth bore with a 41" barrel. Gun is 57" overall length. This gun has been reconverted back to flintlock. Metal has a half octagon half round barrel with a dark brown patina. Wood is very good as repaired and forearm relengthend. Wrist has worn cross hatch checkering. Stock has a nice patch box with a button release on the underside. Left hand side of the stock has a cheek piece with a engraved German silver inlay. Very nice example of a Kentucky style fowler!
