Description:
Offered is a collath drilling in 16ga over 9.3mm x 65mm collath. Included are cases for that caliber 27" barrel blue strong but dulling somewhat with age.Some light dings in metal .The destinctive horn trigger guard and opening lever are excellent except the trigger guard has been repaired from an apparent break at the base (see Pictures). Wood show dings and scratches expected for that age but otherwise sound. Bores show erosion and light pitting with the rifling quite strong. Engraving on the early Collath drillings remains unequalled in my opinion. They are true works of art. Gun is antique and requires no paperwork. $50 shipping.
