Description:
serial #597, 38 RF, 2'' octagon barrel with a very good bore showing some light oxidation and strong rifling throughout.
The top strap markings "X.L. No 4" are crisp and clear and the hammer is nickel. The revolver wears a set black of dark Walnut grips showing a few scattered scratches.
The metal surfaces of this revolver have been cleaned to a high polish appearance, 10% of the nickel remains.
All of the serialized parts are matching and the action functions crisply. Antique Pre 1898
