Description:
SOLD PF *** This is a J.P. Sauer & Sohn 16 gauge 7 pin sidelock with case hardened/colored frame and forend iron that is tastefully engraved. The gun has a 10/36 date code so all engraving, as well as fitting and finishing, was done by hand. The stock has nicely figured walnut featuring a prince of Whales style, round knob, grip that is neatly checkered and finished at 14-3/4" to a Decelerator recoil pad. The drop at the comb is 1-1/2" and the drop at the heel is 2-1/2". The barrels are 73 cm (28-3/4") long and are choked Improved Cylinder/Skeet with a nicely matted rib to reduce glare; ending with a brass bead. The gun weighs right at 6 pounds and is suitable for carrying all day through any type of terrain.
