Frank Wesson Civil War, Two Trigger Rifle. -38 Cal. Cartridge
This Rifle was first issued in 1859 with no method of shell ejection beyond a wood stick. It was updated in 1862 with a manual slide ejector (On this rifle) which allowed a rate of fire of 10 rounds per minute. This gun was used by both sides throughout the Civil War. Many were used in the battle of Gettysburg in July of 1863.
