"Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine .44-40. Winchester 1873 .44-40 caliber saddle ring carbine. Made in 1886. .44-40 Caliber with a 20" barrel. Fairly sharp gun with a smooth brownish gray patina on both the frame and barrel. Wood has a replaced buttstock. Markings are clear. Dust cover is missing. Bore has strong rifling with pitting.
