HIGH CONDITION, RARE NICKEL FINISH .32-20 CALIBER POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL, 4" BARREL, #330XXX, MADE 1926. All Police Positive Specials in .32-20 are fairly scarce, but nickel examples in this caliber are very hard to come by. This one still has the last patent date of 1905 on the barrel top along with the usual Colt address etc. Soon after this, the last patent date was changed to 1926. This one retains nearly all the bright nickel with only a very small few spots of freckling/peeling on the back strap. The cylinder barely has any cylinder drag line, the action is tight and the bore is sharp and excellent. All markings including the rampant colt stamped on the left side of the frame are sharp and clear. The Colt medallion checkered grips show some light wear on the lower edge only which is the contact area if the revolver is laid on its side. About as nice as one could hope to find and really scarce with bright nickel finish!
