Description:
This is for a used Winchester Model 25, 12 gauge (2 ¾”). The Model 25 was manufactured between 1949 and 1954 and is essentially a Model 12 that does not take down. The LOP is 14” and the full choke barrel is 28”. Many older used guns do not shoot the choke listed on the barrel. This Model 25 measured FULL using a choke gauge. I rate this gun as very good to excellent. As you can see from the pictures there are no defects in either the metal, or wood. This is a rare example of a well-perserved older gun from the 1950’s era that appears as new. The action is tight and the barrel has a mirror finish. Unlike many modern shotguns this Model 25 was made in an era when shotguns were hand fabricated from machined parts. This is an unrestored shotgun in excellent condition that a shooter would be proud to own.
