Listing the newest rifle in my collection, a Winchester model 100 rifle ( 22" ) barrel in caliber 243 Mfg'd in 1964 , s.n. 84377. at one time I felt I needed them all, this old 57 year old rifle is about as close to original factory condition as I'd guess you could find. Factory sling swivels, hood, 4- shot clip and basket weave stock and forearm all look great. I believe it had the firing pin changed as it looks to be a letter L stamped up inside of receiver. I've read the letters B,L,N, or X were stamped but not in every case inside above the bolt. Here's the number to call to verify , 800-852-5734, I just called and left a message to check it out. I've shot it over the years without issues. Beautiful rifles in my book, some may disagree, they made I read 262,838 between 1961- 1973. I've a set of Lyman two piece dies and a bunch of ammo if one would be interested.
