Gun is now sold. I have for sale a lovely little Browning SA (Semi Auto) Takedown which was built in 1956 which is the first year of production for the SA with the loading port in the side of the butt stock. This is a beautiful little rifle and it has the very desireable wheel sight which collectors all want. The gun has original bluing and stock finsh and will easily rate 98% or better. There is no bluing wear, or dings or dents to the stock. This gun has the T designation which denotes Long Rifle ammunitiion model. The serial number is T 2120. The only detraction on this rifle is at some point in it's 65 years of existence it was drilled and tapped for scope mounts (see pictures). It doesn't appear a scope was ever mounted and the tapped holes have filler screws but they are there. Wood on this gun is far above average for a standard grade SA as you can see with beautiful figure. I don't believe you will find one with better original finishes and it doesn't appear the gun has been fired more than a few rounds. Price of the gun is $xxxx plus $35 shipping to your FFL.
