Description:
The item for sale is a SOUTHERNER DERINGER. This is an attractive pistol with it's pearl grips. Pearl grips are rarely found on these pistols. The brass is quite nice as shown in the photos. The serial numbers are matching. The "SOUTHERNER" name stamping on the barrel is sharp and legible.The action is tight and functions properly. The bore has some minor roughhess but overall a decent bore for one of these deringers. The blue on the pivot screw is outstanding (possibly replaced). The "Brown Mfg" stamping on the barrel is also legible. The original finish is gone from the barrel and now has some spotted corrosion traces. This is an antique and may be shipped directly to the buyer. Pleäse include $15 to cover shipping and insurance.
