Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: This is a Smith & Wesson 2nd model Nickel Plated Safety Hammerless (or New Departure model) chambered in 38 cal. S&W short. It is in decent condition with thinning of the nickel plate (moreso on the right side). The action works as it should, and she has a nice bright bore, with strong rifling present. S/N 19841 dates it to 1887-1890 which qualifies it as an antique firearm, so it can be sent to your home without the need for an FFL. This model has a push button feature to operate the break-open design, which allows you to load and unload easily. All functions work as designed, and the cylinder is stamped with the correct matching S/N. The original grips are in great condition as well. Just a nice old antique Smith. Gun comes with a flat pocket holster as shown.
