This Swedish 9mm Model 40 Lahti pistol has a 5.5"" barrel and an 8-shot magazine. The bore is excellent with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 97% bright blue. The serial number, 67599, is found on the frame and slide. The left side of the slide is marked HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIK A.B. over the serial number. The right side of the frame is unit marked Rplt. S 5384. There is a small import mark on the left side of the frame below the serial number. The excellent plastic grips have a Swedish crown on them. The action functions correctly. Model 40 production ended in 1946. This is a great example of the Model 40.
