The 9mm M35 Lahti 8 shot pistol was adopted by the Finnish army in 1935. The 4.7"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The pistol retains approx. 98% blue finish. The top of the slide is marked VALMET over L-35. Unlike the much more common Swedish M40 Lahti, the M35 has a loaded chamber indicator. The serial number, 6721, is found on the left side of the frame and slide. The excellent plastic grips are marked VKT. The action functions correctly. Only about 5,700 Finnish M35 Lahti pistols were made. This is a great example of this scarce pistol.
