Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. There is little finish if any remaining. The wood is in good shape with a nice cartouche. We tried to test fire this rifle with some old reloads someone made. The primers had a small mark but the cartridges did not fire. Not sure where the issue is. Sold AS-IS no refunds or returns. Antique, ships direct with copy of your ID to prove age and residency. We are required to charge 5.5% tax for Maine residents and 8.25% for Texas residents. There is a 3.5% fee if paying by credit card.
