****Sold**** Rare Solid Frame Winchester Model 53 in 44-40. 22” barrel with a very nice bore, I will it rate an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. Barrel retains 75 to 80% original blue with the remainder a nice patina. Original front and rear sights. Great markings. Receiver retains 50% original blue with the remainder a nice brown patina. Action functions nicely. Both pieces of wood are in good condition. Buttstock shows a nice done repair at the toe (hardly noticeable but I wanted to mention it) see pics. Correct buttplate. Super rare gun offered at a reasonable price. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
