Here's a great "collectible shooter" example of the coveted Model 70 Super Grade in highly popular 270 Win. caliber. While not a pristine collector, it is a good solid rifle that is unaltered and is complete with all of the factory correct components such as Redfield gold bead front sight, SG floor plate, SG swivels, etc.. S/N 253*** with matching bolt made in 1953. 95% Blue overall with the primary components of barrel and receiver showing closer to 97% Blue, 90% Varnish with scattered light impressions, staining and finish loss most notably toward butt plate region. The insides are spotless, practically new. Bore and mechanics are excellent. An affordable Super Grade that should prove to be a superb hunting companion!
