Description:
This Sturm, Ruger & Co. Model Single Six Old Model single action revolver in .22 long rifle is in good condition, considering it was manufactured in 1956. The Old Model Ruger single actions do not have the transfer bar system. If this Single Six is ever sent back to Ruger, they will install the New Model transfer bar system without asking, which would ruin the collectible status of the revolver. The blued barrel and frame are in good condition with finish missing in several areas. The blued 5 1/2" barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. There has been aftermarket Micro Sights adjustable sights installed at some point. The factory walnut grips are good but not perfect. The '4' click hammer notches are still there. This Ruger is a normal shooter grade, but still has collectible value since the Old Model internal lock-work is still there. This Ruger revolver does not come with a box or any other accessories. .22 Long Rifle
