This early WWI 1914 dated Erfurt military P08 Luger pistol is in very fine condition which is unusual for an early WWI pistol. Only about 7,000 were made in 1914. The 4' 9mm barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains apporx. 97% blue and 95% straw. With the exception of the correct type mismathed wood base magazine, all numbers, including the firing pin and grips, match. The chamber is dated 1914 and the toggle has the crown over ERFURT logo. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering. The action functions correctly. This is a desirabel early WWI Erfurt Luger, especially in this condition.
