This WWI 1916 dated Erfurt military P08 Luger pistol is in very fine condition. About 80,000 were made in 1916. The 4' 9mm barrel has a very good bore with frosting in the grooves. The gun retains apporx. 95% blue and 92% straw. With the exception of the correct type unnumbered wood base magazine, all numbers, including the firing pin, hold open, and grips, match. The chamber is dated 1916 and the toggle has the crown over ERFURT logo. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering. The action functions correctly. This is a desirable 1916 WWI Erfurt Luger, especially in this condition.
