This is a Late Smokeless Powder model made in 1923. This beautiful little gun is in 90% condition as improved by the polishing of the Frame and Trigger. Contrasting to the dark blue finish of the balance of the gun the effect is outstanding. This is a gun that you will be proud to shoot at the range or just to showoff to your friends and guests as part of your collection. The seial number is on the bottom of the frame with the last two digets on the back edge of the cylinder. All other features are correct to the date and series of Colt revolvers. Mechanically this is a new gun and functions perfectly. There is no wear present on the gun, including the lack of a turn ring on the cylinder. The correct grips are clean and bright with no evidence of wear. Stampings and lettering is bright and sharp, and there is no wear shown on the screws. The bore is clean and bright showing no wear or use. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer example of the 1st Generation Colt.
