Roaring Twenties LE Pistol!
Here we present a C&R Colt Army Special aka Official Police Revolver in .38 Special, made in 1922 in Hartford, Connecticut. Colt debuted this model in 1908 and they became very popular among Law Enforcement. Agencies from the FBI to police forces in NYC, LA, Chicago, KC, Compton, and Signal Hill, CA. Others are known to have been acquired by the Union Pacific Railroad. Even the US Army MP issued these.
The overall condition is very fine. Original blue finish. The action is strong. Fine Colt trademarked hard rubber grips. This example has retained a bright bore with sharp rifling. Numbers match. A very clean Colt from the Roaring 20s!
