Description:
Browning Superposed 20 gauge O/U shotgun. This gun was made early in the first year of production of the 20 gauge Superposed, 1949. Serial numbers for this model that were sold in the USA by Browning started at 200 and this gun is number 436.
26 ½” vent rib barrels now choked Sk/Sk; more than likely this was originally choked IC/M.
What is most important about this gun is that this Superposed retains over 98% original finishes and the fact that this is one of the lowest serial numbered 20 gauge Superposed that I have ever personally seen!
The stock has normal dimensions of 14 ¼” LOP to the original butt plate with 1 5/8” DAC and 2 1/8” DAH and neutral cast. Weighs 6 lbs. 8 oz.
