Description:
Late war Fabrique Nationale Browning Hi Power Model 640(b) 9mm semi automatic German service pistol, dated to 1944, "B Series". This pistol is marked with Nazi German Waffenamt's, specifically WaA140, and Eagle-over-swastika. The pistol is identical to the famous Browning Hi-Power pistol in function and design, with a single-action hammer fired mechanism, thumb safety, and a rough-machined dull blue finish, characteristic of later war guns. The pistol is in truly excellent cosmetic condition with only small areas of light wear in contact areas. Flawless bakelite grip panels. The action is smooth, and the bore is not perfect with smooth lands and frosted grooves, but has good shooting life remaining. Included with the pistol is a genuine leather holster, marked "JKh" (presumed to be 42), and two correct magazines. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. C&R OK. A wonderful example of a hard-to-find pistol! Would be an outstanding addition to any WWII weapon collection!
