Description:
Made in 1922 on a "0" frame with 28" Acme steel barrels, this dandy little gun made with splinter forend, auto ejectors, auto safety, double triggers, capped pistol grip, and original skeleton buttplate. Forend is fully checkered and triggers are gold plated. The gun is beautifully engraved with dogs on right, left and trigger plate all surrounded by Parker banknote scroll. The pistol grip cap is a gold shield and is finely engraved with the original owners name "F.G. McIntosh" as seen in the photos.
The gun appears all original with more than 95% original barrel blue, roughly 1/3 of the original case color remains, engraving is crisp. Stocks are sound and retain most of their original finish with some finish added for preservation. Trigger guard is excellent and retains about 35% or the original blue.
This is a beautiful "sweet spot" Parker - fine enough for the very discriminating of collectors and sound enough for the field. It really is an heirloom gun!
