Description:
Beautiful gun made in 1914 on "0" frame. Made with a straight stock, splinter forend, double triggers, auto ejectors and skeleton buttplate. Beautifully engraved in full AHE Grade pattern with large relief dog on trigger plate as seen in the photos. This gun is a bit of an enigma in that it will be found in the Parker serialization and identification book as a BHE 20ga with 30" barrels and it is now found as an AHE 20ga with 28" barrels. Most likely, the barrel was shortened by the factory, though it looks correct as seen in the photos. This gun is housed in its period A&F Case with the initials "C.A.P" found on top.
The gun remains in excellent overall condition with nearly all of the factory blue remaining, case colors appear factory and rate close to 80%. Stock finish is excellent with minor handling marks, and stocks are sound. Bores are bright and shiny, mechanics are crisp.
