Description:
Both rifles have octagon barrels, 1876 marked folding rear sights and rifle style buttplates. Condition is similar on both of them with a mostly plum/brown patina. There is some artificial aging having been put on the barrel at some time but still looks pretty good. Small repair to the stock on both but barely noticeable. Consecutive pair of 1876's is very uncommon. I can only recall a few of them over the years. An interesting pair of guns.
