This fine example of a Belgian 20 ga Superposed Lightning is in approx 90% or perhaps better condition for the price of a Japanese Made Citori and is likely the best value of any 20 ga lightnings presently offered
Handsome dark Walnut stock set, beautifully exectuded (factory) hand checkering and engraving: nothing has been fidddled with; blue and stock finish are original
In one of the pics it appears that there is something on the left pg checkering...this is just dirt. Also on the butt stock is a dark line which may appear to be a flaw but is just the interesting figure and grain of the wood. This gun had a repari to the butt stock in the wrist from poor packaging when it was shipped to us however we are fortunate to have an exceptional stock man who did the repair such that one would not ever know it was there if it were not disclosed; it is not visible nor does it affect the strenght or integrety of this fine shotgun
As a 1968 gun this has a very very small amt of salt in the butt stock; the gun has been completely dissasembled and inspected and there are 2 tiny areas with evidence truely not worth mention; none of the characteristic etching where wood and metal meet at all. All metal parts were greased prior to reassembly and it will never been issue.
26" barrels marked Skeet and Skeet, make this an ideal bird gun in front of pointing dogs; few guns point and shoot as nicely as these.
