This is a sale for a German Imman Meffert Hubertus Dural Drilling combination shotgun in 16ga x 16ga x 7x57R. Serial number- 63975. This drilling is in great condition. In 1931 Meffert developed a receiver with "Dural", a higher grade and tougher aluminum. This shotgun created by Meffert was so popular in the 1930s that the famous firearms company did not begin war production until 1941. They offered the Dural frame in three colors of anodized finish, natural (white), bronze, and black, like this one.
Bores are like new and the gun is tight and on face. It has claw mount bases. LOP is 14", the chokes are full and full. Damn good drilling.
