This Winchester is one of the last to be produced with parts clean up in 1944. The rifle's serial number is 769305. The bore is in very fine to minty condition. The standard sights are original to this gun. The take down feature is tight with no play. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. The original barrel and magazine blue would rate a 95% overall condition. The receiver blue would rate a 88% or better condition The bolt blue would rate a 97% overall condition. The stock has fancy figured wood. There is no stock damage or cracks. The pump handle has no damage or cracks also. The stock and pump handle have almost all of the original finish intact. This is a very fine condition Winchester Model 1890 that has been well cared for! Being chambered for the 22 W.R.F. is also a big plus! Being one of the last to be produced also adds to the collector appeal!
