Description:
Antique FRENCH TULLE ARSENAL Percussion .69 Cal. Musket Shotgun Conversion

EARLY 19th Century French Military

Here we present an antique French Musket Converted to a Shotgun. The original musket would have been made circa 1822 at the French Tulle Arsenal in flintlock configuration and converted to percussion around 1840. At some point, this military longarm has been converted to a very handy muzzleloading shotgun.

The overall condition is good. Strong action. Good bore. Solid stock with an expected amount of wear and contains a few stable repairs. This is a nice example of the early large caliber, percussion altered rifled arm that the US purchased in huge quantities in order to arm the volunteers of 1861 and 1862.

Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.

Barrel is 23-5/8 inches.

Caliber: .69 Percussion

Overall condition as seen in photos.
