Description:
Very nice unaltered and uncracked 375 H&H. S/N 552*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1962. 98% Blue, 97% Varnish. Insides are virtually new. This particular rifle has the rare special recoil lug and corresponding inner stock inletting that Winchester implemented on a few of the later 375s and most all of the 458s. This really helped with stock splitting and as you can see it worked on this one! There are absolutely no cracks inside or out on this rifle. Solid red factory pad as issued on all 375s. Correct 2 stage rocker type sight for this era. Minty bore and flawless mechanics. You can't seem to touch a 375 these days for under 3 grand and most are junk. This is a nice example which has seen very little actual use.
