The 9mm 1908 Model military dated Lugers were made for the German military. They can be identified by the DWM scroll inscription on the toggle, the year date (1910-1913) over the chamber, the lack of a stock lug, and military proofs. 17,000 were manufactured by DWM in 1910. With the exceprion of the correctly inspected mismatched wood base magazine, this very good 1910 exampls is all matiching including the grips and firing pin. This pistol has approx. 95% blue with scattered speckling and wear. The straw parts have faded to approx. 30%. The bore is very good with strong rifling and firing wear. The matching grips are very good with the expected issue wear. The action functions correctly. This is a very good example to the first dated German military Luger.
