Description:
Up for sale is a very rare used Remington 798 chambered in 308 Win. This model was sold by Remington Arms from 2006 until 2008 and the barreled action was imported from Zastava Arms (Interarms MarkX), assembled with a laminated stock after import to the United States. It is based on a Mauser 98 large ring action, control round feed and claw extractor. It is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and has 1” rings and bases installed. The barrel is free floated. This gun is in excellent condition with the only visible issues being very slight handling marks (as seen in photos). The rifle shoots very well - 1.0" groups at 100y or less with factory and hand loads. It comes with the original box, with owner’s manual. The rifle has less than 50 rounds shot through it. I am a private seller so make sure your FFL receives from a private seller. I will accept Cashier’s Check or Money orders. Buyer will pay an additional $40.00 for shipping and Handling fees.
