This is a custom made Ruger #1 A in 22lr. Since Ruger didn't make a #1 in 22lr I bought this gun and gave it to retired master gunsmith Eric Meitzner of Wisconsin.to have it converted. I am a 22 enthusiast and like high quality 22's. He did a beautiful job on the conversion and it is a tack driver. It had a beautiful piece of wood on the gun so I had it refinished in an oil finish to bring out the grain in the wood. A retired couple that I know did the woodwork as they used to build and refinish custom guns also. Their work rivals people like Turnbull.The gun is in like new condition so If you ever wanted a Ruger #1 in 22lr you can now own one for much less than you could have one built today.
