Description:
Interesting mechanism: Pulling the trigger rotates the cylinder; when cocking the hammer the primer tape is advanced; when pulling the trigger again the hammer drops. Instead of nipples into the cylinger, there is a very small opening into the breech end of the cylinder that is indexed to stop on the rotation such that the flame from the cap ingniting is directed into this opening igniting the charge. Apparently John Browm carried a similar pistol. The pistol is engraved. Tape mechanism words perfectly, and the bore is 100% bright and shinny. Good mechanical condition. The box is craftsman made, and the mold is 30 cal instead of 28.
