Description:
Pre war Winchester model 97 in the hard to find 16 gauge. Built in 1940, this gun has a 30" full choked barrel. The gun is in excellent original condition retaining 90% of the original blue and wood finish. The bore is mint and free of any rust,dents,or pits. The action works smoothly and the gun ejects and feeds perfectly. This would make a fun turkey or pheasant gun. It is nice enough to collect but not too nice to enjoy. A classic Winchester. C&R eliglble.
