Description:
Early 1861 Navy .36 cal. civilian production, # 2549. Excellent mechanical condition with tight lock up and no cylinder stop play. Has 5 stainless steel nipples with 1 correct Remington. This gun is a good shooter with fine rifling and scattered pits in bore. VG finish is a mixture of original on loading lever, hammer, and trigger, dark brown frame patina - no buffing, blue tint here and there on cylinder, and fine grips with original varnish. Screws unmarred with one exception. Signs of old fogging but no rust pitting. Excellent Beals markings.
