Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. We do not refund original or return shipping if an item is returned. We do not refund transfer fees or credit card fees. Due to high shipping costs we do not ship handguns to C&R licensees.

Description:
The Pedersoli® 1859 Sharps Infantry Rifle is the last of the percussion rifles ever invented and is considered to be the rifle that paved the way for the transition to the centerfire cartridge rifles that we are familiar with today. The Sharps rifle was used extensively throughout the civil war by both the Confederacy and the Union and the infantry model was used by sharp shooting and elite infantry units alike during the war.
This rifle is used but unfired. The bore is excellent. The wood has a few minor dings and handling marks from storage and handling. These sell new for $1895
We are required to charge 5.5% tax for Maine residents and 8.25% for Texas residents. There is a 3.5% fee if paying by credit card.
