Description:
Silver honor goblet, eight inches tall and three and seven eights inches wide across mouth, with the main body showing a World War II pattern Iron Cross First Class on one side , and a scene of two eagles in mid-air combat on the reverse. The goblet base is marked (in German) " For Particular service in the Air War" around the base and "Leutnant Gerhard Seidlitz AM 6.11.41" around the center with oak leaves. Included with the goblet is the original "Ehrenpokal" presentation certificate signed by Hermann Goering, four original presentation certificates for the Luftwaffe Bomber Clasp: a bronze, a silver and two gold. Each comes with the original certificate, a set of four framed photocopies and a set of photo negatives. The goblet is in excellent condition with some minor edge wear and a few light handling marks. The certificates are very good, with clear marking and script. Included is the original presentation case.
