Offered for sale are both of these sequential serial-numbered 6700A4 Colts. Colt has issued a recall on certain of these rifles, but I have contacted Colt and and they gave me a letter stating that neither of them have the defect that is the subject of the recall. The clearance letter will be included as part of this listing. These are sequentially serial numbered, NIB Colt AR-15A4-configured rifles with matching boxes as shown in the photos, which are an integral part of the description. However, as it turns out, these sequential serial-numbered rifles are also Colt factory errors. It seems that the lower receiver reads "CARBINE," instead of AR-15A4, even though the box labels read "Colt Rifle" and "CR6700A4". Colt has admitted this error and will replace the receivers with ones that are correctly marked, with no guarantee that the serial numbers will be sequential and it will take 4-6 weeks to get them. So, I will just leave them as is. FFL required. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. Cashier's Check or USPS money orders only please. No sales to California. Magazines cannot be shipped with the rifles to any state that has banned magazines that have a capacity of more than 10 rounds. No exceptions to this. Thanks for looking.
