Description:
Very nice all original Colt SAA made in 1927 45 with the desirable 4 3/4" barrel. This one has ~ 40% original finish color case hardened frame and blueing. Better than pics show and all original even the grips. Correct 2 line barrel roll mark with great bore and action. Serial on this one falls between 2 known San Antonio Texas PD shipped single actions. Less than 20 digits away. A nice original not messed with old 1st Gen made when colt was producing very few and they were high quality! All serial numbers match on frame, TG, and backstrap. All assembly numbers match and grips are numbered to the gun and serial numbers are also "formed" to the grips from the number on the TG and backstrap. See pics. Gun has 5 punch dots located on the left ear of the backstrap. Could mean a number of things but who knows, neat none the less. I took pics inside and outside so you could see what is being sold. $3400. Shipping is free ffl to ffl. Insurance extra if desired.
