WALTHER .22 long rifle caliber, single shot, bolt action German trainer in remarkably fine condition with matching serial numbers (38940 W), near flawless checkered walnut stock with small repair just under the safety and bluing at 99% condition, flawless glossy bore in 25" heavy barrel, LOP: 13 7/8"; OL: 44 1/4", original open sights with 25-200 meter elevations on rear sights, adjustable trigger, original Walther butt plate and adjustable leather sling. Thus rifle was made in the Nazi era of 1934. The print on top of the receiver reads: WAFFENFABRIK WALTHER ZELLA-MEHLIS THURINGEN (the town and state that was the home of Walther Arms and J. G.
