These were manufactured from 1902 to 1906. Smith & Wesson only manufactured approximately 4,575 1st Model Ladysmith revolvers.  The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent dates flanked by Maltese crosses, caliber marking on left barrel side, and S&W Trade Mark logo on left side of frame. The markings are crisp and clear.  The gun has a nickel finish that retains about 70% of the original, now frosted finish with some high edge wear and scattered minor flaking. The markings are crisp and clear. The blue hammer and trigger have a smooth, dark patina. The pearl grips are excellent with light handling marks. The action is fine and the bore is dark, but serviceable. All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Think long, think wrong. Payment On firearms, we typically only accept credit cards or money orders/cashier's checks. Sale prices reflect a 3% cash/money order discount. This discount is not valid for credit card purchases. Add 3% to the total cost for such purchases. Any purchases made in the state of Kentucky incur a 6% sales tax. On items $4995 and up, we cannot process credit card payments. Layaways must be agreed to prior to purchase. Our layaway policy is 1/2 of the final total as down payment with 60 days to pay the balance. Cancellation results in a 20% restocking fee based on the purchase price. Shipping We ship firearms via UPS. They must be sent to an FFL. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions. If paying by credit card, store policy is to ship to the billing address of the card. If paying by Money Order, we can ship to wherever it's legal. The exception is, obviously, serialized items. We are, for the most part, willing to ship to the 50 states as long as it's legal. We may require proof of legality before proceeding with a transaction that is exempt from a normal law.
