Description:
This is a wonderfully made pre ww1 J.P. Sauer 12 gauge game gun...The 13 bore 28" barrels are choked mod and imp mod. 2 3/4" chambers with excellent bores...The original stock length of pull was 14 "...Rubber extensions have been added to make the length of pull now 16", with a drop of 2 5/8"...As is, this fine gun weighs 7 pounds. Remove the extensions and you would have a well balanced light field gun that would weigh around 6 1/2 pounds...Or, if you carry Orangutang dna, then shoot it as is...Serial #122xxx, indicating made circa 1906. Barrel flats and frame are stamped "Prussia"... Overall fine, tight shooting and collecting condition...Ship to ffl or c&r ...
