Description:
Caesar Guerini Forum grade 28 gauge O/U shotgun. An exceptional firearm! This gun has 28” solid rib barrels with 5 factory flush chokes tube and wrench AND three 3 extended/ported Comp N Choke tubes. The solid rib tapers from 5/16" at the breech to 3/16" at the muzzle.
The Forum game scene engraving features a quail in flight on the left side plate, Ringneck pheasant bursting from cover on the bottom and a Woodcock in flight on the right side plate; all surrounded by nicely done scroll work. Giovanelli designed the engraving pattern.
The wood was crafted from a fine piece of Walnut and the forearm tapers to a light Schnabel with an Anson style button release. The butt stock has a round knob with long trigger guard tang and a fully checkered butt. The LOP is 14 5/8”, 1 7/16” DAC & 2 3/16” DAH with a slight right hand cast.
It weighs 6 lbs. 11 oz. and balances nicely. Condition wise this gun is nearly new! It is very easy to call the deep, dark blue and the coin finished pieces 99%+. The wood has a few some almost invisible light scratches here and there probably from a shirt or from the inside of a gun case but still rates at 99%.
